Converting Waste To Electricity

Posted by carrie_roll

This is a firm that claims to have a technology for converting waste to electricity.
They’re looking for venture capital, and it looks very interesting to me (not that I really have any money to put towards a speculative venture right now.

In any case, I’m curious to hear what the members of GreenJoyment think about technology that heats waste to 6,000 Degrees plus CELSUIS (That’s HOT!) in order to convert it into electricity to power homes and the grid (in this case, in the UK).

I find it curious that you don’t state how you will heat up the mixture to such a high degree. This is essential to know: how much energy this will require and where it comes from. Can you supply this information?
