Is this really change in the American government?

In America’s most recent election, I voted third party.
I believe that is the greatest opportunity for change in America.
That having been said, it’s VERY cool to see the Obama transition team using new media (youTube, and Change.gov) to communicate what’s happening and attempt to get people involved in the discussions and policy-making processes of government.
It’s through a dispersed and open knowledge platform, and with the support (but not interference) of government, that new technologies will be developed by today’s companies and individuals.
This can and will bring about the positive changes needed to really make solar, wind, and geothermal, and as-yet undiscovered sources of energy viable alternatives to power the United States, and indeed, the entire planet.
It remains to be seen just how aggressive the changes will be once president-elect Obama becmoes President Obama. However, they are to be congratulated for their efforts at transparency, and for communicating via media which allows average, everyday people to feel like their opinions matter.
These videos are 2 and 3 days old, and already, more than 60,000 viewers have watched the first, and more than 100,000 have watched the second. That’s a pretty good start on working to achieve understanding of what Mr. Obama wants to do with regard to the environment once he’s in office.
On this page, they actually invite public comment next to the posted video.

President-elect Obama recorded a message for the Global Climate Summit, promising “a new chapter in American leadership on climate change.”

The Evil of the world
God loves everyone and some people forget that. God never said to confess your sins to a man.
Not only have people forgotten that America was base on God and our for fathers and ancestries would not be agreeing with about what is happing today. God said love thy neighbor as like our self. I am disappointed at people who can’t understand what god word and the meaning. I want to point out this did anyone know this we all are connected to Adam and Eve and that is the truth. Instead of fighting and killing each other off I ask you all to take the time to do our family tree we all are family no matter what race or color you are and no matter what religion you are. When you fall we all fall. We all are family in this big world We were not born to kill each other off we are here on this earth to understand and help each other out . We might have dis agreements on some of us issues that is a part of life. Those who do evil thinking is the way to the kingdom of god it is not the way and God said this in his 10 commandments.

God said if you love him you will keep his Commandments.
The Constitution for the United States of America and Bill rights has been tapper with by people who don’t agree with this country and what it was base on. Back then America did not have a Federal Reserve Bank why because the country and the government did not agree with a private banking system that would control people like puppets and this Federal Reserve banking system has spine out of control has spine. I am sadden about this act not only that the so called people that they say they love America and they stand behind America and the Constitution they are out there for their own greed and they are whiling to destroy the history what America was base on for their selfness and greed. How Ok by making agenda is to dissolve the United States of America into the North American Union.
I am sadden by this act of evil and sickness of how much people can say they love this country but behind closed doors they don’t and they care for people . I know they don’t because if they did love or care about anyone in this country they would not do the evil act and selfness act for the greed of money or they worship the evil word of darkness.
I trust in God I would never confess my sins to a man kind because they are unholy no matter what religion they believe in.
Congratulations Mr. Obama on being elected, may I say that as an Australian it is very heartening to me to feel that at last this issue of climate change will be taken seriously by both our countries. It IS up to us, the developed nations to lead in developing the will and the technologies for a sustainable future for the whole world, considering that firstly it is we who morally should deliver the world from its present predicament since it was us who more or less brought it to this state with our industrialisation, and secondly because we alone have the technological know-how and money it will require to do it, and may I add that therefore it will also be us who reap the first societal rewards from any new developments.
Hopefully with this new awareness of the planets’ needs the single minded corporate power and lobby group influence that for so long seems to have had much influence within Govt. may also wane. I personally think that they are who have caused much of the distrust towards America from some regions, and given religious fanatics in others more power to hate.
