		<description>These are all great ideas, but I always recommend that someone take any means possible to first make their home more energy efficient before using solar or wind energy. The reason is, that for every dollar spent towards energy efficiency will save about 4 dollars on alternative energy. It just makes better financial and environmental sense.
You mentioned radiant barriers and in my opinion, insulation and radiant barriers are one of the best things you can invest in to get the highest return.
