As a follow-up to the fantastic new iPhone application from 3rdWhale, which finds local and Green businesses wherever you are, I thought I’d share this video.
It’s why you should shop local, and why local usually turns out to be Green.

No, this wasn’t a personal agenda, just because I do work at a local coffee shop. This is something that is super easy to do that supports not only the local economy but the rest of the world too. Not only are the prices the same (if not cheaper), the people are friendlier, and the atmosphere more unique, but it supports a cause we all believe in.
