Hi Joan!
That is TRULY awesome! 5 of the 6? You’re the first person we’ve heard from who’s doing so many great things to change the world in which you live. The mower thing is definitely interesting if you have an acre to mow. THat’s a lot to do with a push mower. You’d certainly get your exercise in that way though!
Also, the tip about the tomato plants… we didn’t know that, but Carrie and I have 8 tomato plants growing in our backyard right now, so we’ll definitely give that a shot!
How did you like the other 7 tips we sent over?
Thanks Joan, and again, congratulations!
Warmest,
Jonathan Kraft

Hi:
Thanks for sending me the information. At the present time I do five of the six things. The one thing that i might not do is change over my mower as we have just over 1 acre of green stuff, that needs to be moded.
But i am changing that as well, I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. i am interested in changing my front lawn into flower beds. raised. Then in between each bed I would like to plant stones. It’s to bad that we can’t grow tropical plants here as that would take less water, but it will be a start any way. (-34C) at times in the winter.
We are moving next year and building a green house with both wind and solar powert, we would like to be self containes.
Little thiings like tomatoes/lettece/fresh vegtables seem to be really expencive. So this year i planted 14 tomato plants,
and i had to give away 4 as I have to many now. (if you take most of the leaves off the plant you only feed the fruit it self and boy does it work)
Looking forward to your next green thing to do.
Take care
Joan
