We need to know what’s in our food.
The good news is that progress is being made! CARightoKnow (Yes on 37) shares that “what’s in our food” is tracking far ahead in the polls and you can see the results in this article by the Los Angeles Times “Poll Finds that Prop. 27 is Likely to Pass.”
But those fighting this battle in California, one that could affect the entire nation can’t stop now. It’s not a “done deal” until the last ballot is counted. Next week those who oppose labeling our foods so that we know what’s in them will begin telling their tales. After all, has Russia suspended import and use of American GM corn after study revealed cancer risk, why shouldn’t we here in the U.S. stop the use?
Now is the time! Donate, join us, tell your friends to Vote Yes on 37. If you’re in California, or know anyone who is, please encourage them to vote yes on GMO food labeling. Now is the time pull together to make California the first state in the US to label genetically engineered foods.
