That’s Wicked Fresh Toothpaste – finally a GOOD toothpaste without sugar

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Tom’s of Maine. All opinions are 100% mine.

Did you know that most commercial toothpastes have sugar as one of the main ingredients?  Sugar.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the main reason you brush your teeth to prevent cavities?  And, what is one of the leading causes of cavities?  Sugar.

Ok, so why then, would I prevent tooth decay by covering each tooth in a thin coating of sugar?  How does that even work?

I once told my older sister this, and she said, “Well, I don’t EAT my toothpaste.”  Clearly confused, I don’t think she understood my point.  Hopefully she does now.

The day I first read the ingredient listing on my toothpaste was the same day I went out and bought sugarless toothpaste.

My new brand of choice is Tom’s Of Maine.  At first taste I was surprised at how good and fresh it tasted.  It certainly wasn’t overly sweet like eating a peppermint candy.  But, Toms did the job.

And, it even whitened my teeth.  And it did it better than any of the whitening strips I’ve tried before.  Not only that, but it does it all naturally.

It’s true I’ve been using Tom’s Of Maine on my teeth for about 5 years now.  I once borrowed someone’s mainstream toothpaste (because I forgot mine), and I will never go back.  It was so sickly sweet, and sticky.  I just felt like it didn’t clean my teeth or freshen my breath at all.

I’m happy to stick with my Tom’s of Maine toothpaste thankyouverymuch.

Toms has now come out with a new line of toothpaste and mouthwash.  Their Wicked Fresh line.  Wicked Fresh!™ Long-lasting Fresh Breath Toothpaste uses powerful natural flavor oils and a patent-pending botanical extract to provide long-lasting fresh breath.

I can’t wait to get my teeth on some.

My preferences are for no sugar. I would choose Sugar over aspertine though. Although we spit it out, we still ingest it.
As it is expected with the flouride. Only Fluoride, which is the main ingredient in Rat Poision, is really harmful to us. They even tell you to swallow the stuff(tablets from the dentist)It, at best, was only supposed to be used to cover the tooth, protect it, they said. Ingesting the tablets is like swallowing face cream when your skin is dry. it’s a scary world out there. More and more companies, such as Tom’s of Maine, are producing toothpaste without the stuff. If you are wondering how a substance can be sold to the people even when they know it will hurt you, remember cigarettes, chemicals in your food etc. Just try tackling their lawyers(lol) This world is a business and we are their means to achieving all of their goals. Regain back your own control. We should not be paranoid, just take back the control you relinquished when you thought it was easier to have someone else think, act and produce for you.

Have you tried sending them a quick email and seeing if there’s a way they would send you some? Maybe even just to try it out? Never hurts to ask, you know?
